Our Business Development Manager Role
You’ll spot opportunities before others do and turn them into real, repeatable revenue.
Working across our 7 pubs, you’ll drive growth through corporate outreach, community engagement, in-house activations, and strategic partnerships, collaborating closely with Operations and Marketing to ensure all venues are maximising their commercial potential, while maintaining clear processes, accurate reporting, and consistent use of the Collins booking system.
Whilst this role will be focused on a standard working week, we are seeking an element of flexibility based on business requirements for some evening or weekends as agreed with Line Manager
What You'll Be Doing
Key responsibilities of the role include:-
Driving pre-booked sales, conversion, and booking value
Growing private hire, group bookings, and loyal repeat business
Building genuine relationships with local businesses, corporates, and community partners
Actively managing and optimising the booking pipeline
Increasing spend per head through structured bookings and confident upselling
Tracking performance and sharing clear, useful insights on what’s working
What We're Looking For
Proven hospitality sales or business development experience (multi-site a big plus)
Commercially minded, confident with numbers, and comfortable owning results
Experience with booking systems (Collins is a bonus)
Brilliant communicator who builds trust quickly
Proactive, organised, and detail-driven
Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable moments that people come back for
