We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Deputy Manager who loves pubs, is passionate about guest experience & is keen to work with an independent London Pub Operator.

We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Deputy Manager join us.
Who are You?
- An experienced Deputy Manager who's excited to be an integral part of one of our independent pubs.
- Someone who shares the same passion and love of pubs that we do.
- You love creating top notch guest experiences and thrive from putting a smile on both the teams' and our guests faces.
- Developing the team and seeing their progression, is second nature to you
- You have solid financial knowledge and enjoy proactively supporting the General Manager to drive and exceed KPIs and budgets.
- Previous experience working with sport as part of the operation, or an interest in sport would be highly advantageous.
- You’ll also bring with you your previous relevant Deputy Manager experience in a £20k + pub or bar and our ideal Deputy Manager candidate will have outdoor/garden & food experience in their toolkit too.
This is a role where you will support your General Manager to really drive the business and create memorable guest experiences with the team. If career development is on your mind, we can certainly support you to achieve your career goals too.
Our Deputy Managers lead in the delivery of Livelyhood in their pubs in way that has our five Lively Ways (values) of Authentic, Daring, People, Lively and Sustainable at its very heart.
What we are offering
- A competitive salary of £35k - £36.5K based on your experience + tronc + Bonus
- Additional tronc/service payments – in region of £4k-£7k making OTE up to £43.5k
- Additional Deputy Manager bonus plan -£1300 a quarter/£5,200 a year bonus pots

About Livelyhood
We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in London.
You’ll find us in Crystal Palace (The Faber Fox), Balham (The Regent), Wimbledon (The Old Frizzle), Wanstead (The Bull), Clapham South (The Perky Nel), Bromley South (The Artful Duke) & Elephant and Castle (The Rosy Hue).
We are also planning to open more sites in London & investing in current sites, so this is a brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our growth.
