We’re on the Hunt for a Part-Time Maintenance Person at Livelyhood!

We love our neighbourhood South London pubs and want to keep them looking and running their best – to do this, we need you.

Livelyhood is looking for a dependable, part-time Maintenance Person to help maintain our lively spaces across South West and East London.

This is a part-time role – 2 days a week, on a rolling schedule Monday to Friday, so flexibility is key. We need someone who can jump in and hit the ground running with an immediate start.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager and be a vital part of keeping our pubs in top condition. This includes:

• General maintenance tasks across multiple pub sites
• Painting and decorating
• Basic plumbing and carpentry
• DIY and general facility repairs
• Outdoor maintenance and light gardening

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone practical and hands-on, with a strong work ethic and eye for detail. You’ll need:

• Previous maintenance experience
• Confidence in basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair
• Your own tools and transport – a car/van is essential for site visits
• Flexibility to work across different London sites
• Strong communication skills – you’ll be in contact with site managers regularly
• Willingness to occasionally support out-of-hours work if needed
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• An understanding of health & safety standards and basic compliance

What we are offering

• £25 per hour, depending on experience
• 40% Food and Drink discount for you and 3 guests valid in all sites from day 1

• Travel allowance to be discussed at interview
• Immediate start

You’ll find us in Crystal Palace (The Faber Fox), Balham (The Regent), Wimbledon (The Old Frizzle), Wanstead (The Bull), Clapham South (The Perky Nel), Bromley South (The Artful Duke) & Elephant and Castle (The Rosy Hue).

We are also planning to open more sites in London, so this is a brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our growth.
